Day Trip to Koli
We invite you to join a day trip to Koli on Friday, July 31, 2026.
The program begins with a “Sacred Places Offering Ceremony” led by Juuso Jokiniemi together with Elders Charles Lawrence, Taiha-Moetu, Eila Paul, Markku Lehmuskallio, and Anastasia Lapsui. This is followed by a guided Vision Quest, a sharing circle, and a communal drumming session themed around the roots of Koli and the Kalevala tradition. The excursion lasts approximately five hours.
Please bring your own packed lunch, a water bottle, a seat pad, a drum or rattle, and offerings (such as flowers, seeds, or butter) for the ceremony.
Please arrive independently by 10:00 AM at the Koli Nature Centre Ukko, from where we will head together to the summit of Ukko-Koli. Address: Koli Nature Centre Ukko, Ylä-Kolintie 39, 83960 Koli.
Price: €59 for Four Winds assocciation members, €67 for non-members. Purchase your ticket in advance from the Four Winds online store; you will receive further details after your purchase.

Summer Event “Tree of Life” in Lapland
Four Wind’s -summer event at Oravanpesä, Pello, in Lapland, 26th-30th July 2023.
Now is time to open your calendar, summer is more faster here than you can even believe. This year theme is “Tree of Life”, journey from the roots up to the tip of the tree leaves; downer world, middle world, upper world. We are going respectfully to the land of the indigenous sami people, and we are going to respect sami people’s culture and traditions. You can find more about event program here.

North Wind Summer Event in Sammatti
Four Winds summer event in Lapland have changed location from north to south. New event name will be North Wind. North is still part of the event theme.
Four Winds North Wind -summer event will be organized at New Fire Center on 29th to 31st of July. (Haukantie 471, 09220 Sammatti, Finland)

Summer camp Dances With Winds has been postponed to 2021.
Instead there will be a mini camp “Back to the Roots” in Rausjärvi, Lohja 21.7.- 23.7. 2020. More info will be updated on the page linked above.
