Our dream to have summer camp in the north is finally happening!

Our this year theme is Tree of Life, journey from roots to treetop: underworld, middle world, upper world.

There will be silent Zen tea ceremony, Four Wind’s sacred pipe ceremony, drum journeys, and tree connecting. There will meditation with old spirits and journey to shamanistic temple.

We are sharing thoughts about our roots connection to earth, and what it means to be a human. We are near the land of sami indigenous people, so we respect gratefully their traditions as well.

Our expedition journeys are full of interesting performers; shamanism researcher Francis Joy, Tea Fountain’s founder Mika Hartikainen, sacred pipe carrier Virko Kolulahti, Abhaya Liisa Lahti, shamanistic artist Lapin Akka, and anthropologist Terhi Vuojala-Magga.

Of course there will be Four Wind’s grandfather Charles Lawrence, and our chairman Gitta Olenius, and other Four Wind’s board members.

On Thursday we will start from the roots, on Friday we will get to know the middle world, and on Saturday there will be upper world.
